Rivne students to go for training to China

n agreement on cooperation in science and education has been signed between the National Water Industry and Nature Management University in Rivne and the University of Sinsiang in China, Rivne university official Liudmyla Stupchuk told the Western Information Corporation (WIK) correspondent on Jan. 8, 2008.

Under the agreement, Chinese and Ukrainian universities will exchange teams of scholars, trainers, postgraduates and students to implement joint research and education projects as well as study the specifics of both universities’ education systems.
Subaj Anabeck, professor of the University of Sinsiang, came to Rivne to coordinate the implementation of joint projects.
The Chinese scholar held talks with the Rivne university Rector Vasyl Huryn, Pro-Rector Hryhory Sapsaj and deans of university colleges.
S. Anabeck also visited the university museum where his attention was grabbed by Soviet-era exhibits.
