Ukrainian army to mark its 16th anniversary
On the occasion of the 16th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, holiday fireworks will be carried out in nine hero cities of Ukraine: Kyiv, Sevastopol, Odessa, Kerch, and also in Vinnytsia, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Rivne, and Zhytomyr, at 18.00 on 6 December.

According to the press-service of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, on the occasion of the holiday, Defense Minister Anatoliy Hrytsenko issued the respective decree “On Carrying out Holiday Fireworks on Occasion of 16th Anniversary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”. On 6 December Ukraine will celebrate a holiday – the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On this day 16 years ago the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted law ‘On Armed Forces of Ukraine”, which marked the beginning of the newest history of the Ukrainian army.
